AC/DC Hand Magnet for Magnetic Particle Testing
The UF 220 AC/DC hand magnet is a compact and powerful AC/DC hand magnet for magnetic particle testing. It allows both mains and battery operation, offers a high lifting force and, thanks to its low weight, is ideal for mobile inspections and weld inspections. The robust IP54 housing, flexible pole spacing of 0–220 mm and UV LEDs ensure comfortable and versatile use.

UF 220 – AC/DC Hand Magnet for Magnetic Particle Testing
The Uniflux UF 220 AC/DC is a lightweight and powerful hand magnet for professional magnetic particle testing of components and welds. It enables both AC and DC magnetization and achieves a lifting force of ≥ 7.1 kg (69 N) in AC operation and ≥ 22.2 kg (216 N) in DC operation.
With a weight of only approx. 2.3 kg, a flexible pole spacing of 0–220 mm and the robust IP54 housing, the UF 220 AC/DC is ideally suited for mobile and industrial use.
Optionally available with integrated illumination:
- UV LED: 365 nm, UV intensity ≥ 2,000 µW/cm² – ideal for fluorescent magnetic particle testing
- Direct illumination of the inspection area during magnetization
The UF 220 AC/DC is designed for inspections according to ASTM E709, ASTM E1444 and ISO 9934 and is supplied including a carrying case and calibration certificate.
