Magnetic field indicators/Quantitive Quality Indicators (QQIs) with defined surface cracks.

Description

Test specimens made of low-carbon steel for regular inspection of the test equipment used, as well as
the proper functioning and adjustment of all components of your crack detection system.


The test specimens are magnetized together with the workpiece to be tested and sprayed with
magnetic particle suspension. The following parameters can be checked and optimized under UV light:

  • Magnetization direction
  • Magnetization strength
  • Test performance or defect detectability
